THE VALUE OF ONE

In Acts 8:25-40, we are introduced to a man named Phillip who was led by the Holy Spirit into the desert to meet Ethiopian Eunuch and baptize him. Church history tells us that the Ethiopian Eunuch brought Christianity to the continent of Africa and founded the Orthodox Church in that part of the world. The YES of one man, Phillip, affected an entire region of the world.

Because you have said YES to the LORD a 104 year old woman was able to hear the gospel in her own language (in the village of Won-rock) and accept Christ as LORD and Savior. Also because you have said YES, a woman who contemplated committing suicide was able to come to our annual Wau Hope Outreach conference. She came looking for her friend to say goodbye and, while there, she encountered the LORD and surrendered to Him. Both of these women are not only alive today...but their names are written in the book of life because you said YES.
